Through Agroecology, Social Entrepreneurship and the Social and Solidarity Economy, we take the value of cocoa and resign its consumption to promote the social, economic and environmental development of small cocoa-producing communities. We have a cacaocultor cooperative society, “Tajawil ta Kakaw”. Through it we have trained 7 producers head of the family to improve their quality processes; going from producing conventional cacaos to high-specialty fermented cacaos. We train small producers in the implementation of agro-ecological practices that promote the biodiversity and resilience of our forests. In addition, we instruct in the use of biotechnology as an ecological tool that increases productivity and increases quality without disturbing the harmony of the forest.
We promote the transfer of innovation and enhance the socio-environmental development of cacaculturous communities in Mexico and eventually Latin America.
