In Tenakata, we are solving a Financial Inclusion problem of access to finance for Micro and Small Enterprises in Africa. According to the WB, a quarter of the MSME’s close down before the first year of operations and this is attributed to lack of financial management skills and lack of capital
We solve this problem through our state of the art mobile business solution that helps MSMEs keep their business records, help them generate credit scores using a powerful AI engine based on their financial performance. We then offer them Financial Literacy Training and finally working capital loans for their businesses to power their growth. Currently we have over 100k businesses on our platform accessing the various services.
