Tanzania Youth Biodiversity Society (TYBS) is a youth-led organization dedicated to protecting biodiversity while empowering young people to become leaders in conservation and sustainable development. Through environmental education, community engagement, research, advocacy, and practical conservation actions, TYBS inspires a new generation to safeguard Tanzania’s rich natural heritage.
We believe that biodiversity is the foundation of healthy ecosystems, resilient communities, and sustainable livelihoods. By connecting young people with nature and equipping them with knowledge, skills, and opportunities, we create lasting solutions to environmental challenges while fostering innovation and responsible stewardship of natural resources.
