Team Sustainable Farming Solutions (SFS) is a women led, youth-driven, gender-inclusive team of 12, supported by an experienced board. Founder & Director, Tonthoza Uganja is a PhD researcher at Bangor University, Mulago Fellow, and Schlumberger Fellow, guiding strategy and partnerships. CTO, Dr. Enock Mbewe, co-developer of Smart Tree, leads digital innovation in MRV and fintech. Operations Director, Vanessa Simwela (MSc) oversees restoration operations and farmer mobilisation, while Finance Director, Keith Chirambo manages grants and sustainability. Administrative Director, Lestina Nhlema, ensures compliance and HR, and Sustainability Manager, Thembi, leads gender, youth, and VSLA programmes. The youth-led field team implements restoration, nursery production, and Smart Tree onboarding.
