Water scarcity profoundly impacts African lives, notably in Nigeria, where it destabilizes the primary livelihood of its 34.5 million farmers. Typically earning $1.456 annually, these farmers rely on crops like rice and yam, which demand consistent water supply for optimal yield. Unpredictable rainfall patterns, exacerbated by global warming, severely compromise crop quality and quantity. This instability thrusts 25 million Nigerians into the peril of food insecurity annually.
