We empower smallholder farmers, agri-SMEs, and processing facilities with real-time farm monitoring, post-harvest loss reduction, smart logistics, and energy-efficient infrastructure. Our circular approach repurposes organic residues into compost or bioenergy, minimizing waste while creating income opportunities for low-income communities. Founded by Kelvin Macharia Kuria, a Mandela Washington Fellow and Forbes Africa Top 30 Under 30, Sunrise Innovations combines tech innovation, sustainability, and social impact to build resilient, climate-smart agriculture. With proven pilots and a plan to scale to 100+ farms, we are seeking grants or revenue-based financing to expand deployment, strengthen circularity, and drive measurable environmental and economic impact in East Africa.
