
Solar Freeze provides an “Uber-ing” solution which does not require an internet connection for perishable produce by smallholder farmers in Kenya through a platform running on simple USSD, farmers are able to order logistics services for their produce. Our platform also connects smallholder farmers with portable solar powered cold storage that helps prevent post-harvest loss. In much of the developing world, post-harvest losses are as high as 80% due to lack of cold‐storage logistics chain
