At Sigmotec, we believe effective management starts with measurement. By enabling farmers and lodges to monitor and control resources like water, electricity, and livestock, we help conserve these and improve operational efficiency.

Farmers are battling rising livestock theft, borehole pump theft, declining meat values, and harsh climates. In 1970, 17 oxen could buy a 4×4 Land Cruiser; today, it takes 55. Windhoek’s water demand is rising, with the underground water level dropping 80m in just two months this year.

IoT and LoRa now enable wide-area monitoring and control. Our solutions include water management, borehole tampering alarms, livestock counters, and intruder detection systems. We also optimise electricity use by leveraging solar energy and detecting leaks to save water, a critical resource in Namibia.
