Shewekar is an Egypt-based design studio specialized in eclectic furniture design and residential and commercial interiors. With a BA in Interior Design from the International Fine Arts College in Miami, Shewekar Elgharably has been designing from the heart since 2002. Her aesthetic draws from our region’s history and experiences, blending Egyptian artisan tradition with contemporary design.
Our studio is a home-grown, self-financed operation that has grown from a small office in 2002 to a major interior design studio and a unique showroom displaying our luxurious, beautifully crafted furniture pieces.
In an effort to continue to grow and evolve with the times, this year we launched “Dash”, our online furnishing and styling service. We are also working on launching a new more affordable furniture line to be marketed and sold solely online. Launch date is planned for Q4 2022.
