Shaddaï Aquaculture is a fish feed producer industry.
Aquaculture is the world’s hope in the face of climate change. It is also the hope of millions of rural African families who have no access to fish. But there remains a real problem in developing this sector in our country because of the problem of feeding fish. We import an average of 80% of the feed used in Senegal, which makes it extremely expensive and prevents fish farmers from making a living from their activity. These producers sometimes try to use locally produced feed, which blocks the growth of the fish and can lead to high mortality rates. As a result, many of them end up abandoning this activity despite the high demand of fish in the remote areas.
That’s why I created SHADDAÏ AQUACULTURE with feed formulated by experts in fish nutrition to offer the same quality as imported feed and almost 40% cheaper to make fish farmers gain the same rate with a decent margin.
