Mark is a three-x founder. His last tech company, Tourism Radio, was a device that fitted
into hired cars. The uniqueness of the technology was in its ability to seamlessly arrange
thousands of travel related audio clips and organise them into a coherent dialogue, based
on location.Mark launched the product into the South African tourism market in 2005. Tourism Radio
was featured prominently online and on TV, with Discovery Channel and CNN running features
on the technology.The German Wella haircare-product founding family bought out the original Tourism Radio shareholders in 2006, including Paul Simon, founder of the Young Designers Emporium.Mark was kept on as the CEO until 2013, having raised $10 million, and expanding the concept into six countries around the world. Mark is CEO of Sensor Networks and works with the core management team that be brought over from Tourism Radio.
