In Senegal, several highly-rich cereals and legumes from the nutritional point of view are cultivated and not valued. To contribute to the promotion of these crops and the promotion of local consumption to help combat child malnutrition, we have put in place a high nutritional value infant meal based on moringa fortified cereals.
We are a Senegalese start-up that evolves in the field of agri-food processing of local products from Senegalese agricultural production.
Our products are flour marketed under the brand “Ignafaan which means grandmother in the local language” Diola “. “Ignafaan” comes at a time when child malnutrition is gaining ground in Senegal, Africa and elsewhere. The brand “Ignafaan” is a child flour made from local cereals (Mil, maize), legumes (nièbe, peanut), fruit of baobab.
