Sacred Traditions ® is an initiative that was born in March 2020 at the beginning of the quarantine period that we were excited about for a few weeks. With the passing of the days, we were concerned about the situation of some artisan families. We generate a national and international network to be able to show their art and bring awareness to people that we can all collaborate and support socially from the place we occupy and through fair trade. Mexico is a country that is highly dependent on tourism. The current pandemic is affecting both domestic and foreign tourism, which represents a great impact on productive subsectors such as the craft sector. We shelter people and families who work in informality and do not have state support. Our mission is to recognize these anonymous artisans, to visualize the cultural legacy and value of popular art and at the same time to shore up dignified human development. They deliver culture, wisdom, textures, colors and ancestral riches.
