We believe in utilising renewable energy solutions to improve daily activities to actually increase incomes and not just make access to energy cheaper. We believe the productive load sector has been largely untouched in the current worldwide solar revolution, and we want to develop products and solutions to power these businesses forward to, in turn, power entire economies.
Our first product is thus a solar-powered fishing lamp designed and developed to replace the currently used pressurised kerosene lanterns in Lake Victoria to attract sardines. Over 140,000,000 USD are spent every year on kerosene emitting over 480,000 tons of CO2. Our solution is cheaper, cleaner, and safer – people, profit, planet.
