Saathi Biodegradable and compostable sanitary pads

At Saathi, we produce 100% biodegradable and compostable sanitary pads out of banana tree fiber, which are good for the body, community and environment. We provide a hygienic, effective alternative to improve the lives of the women without creating any negative environmental impact. That means making pads that are from sustainable, renewable materials, making them accessible to women no matter where they live and working with other partners to make sure our products get upcycled. We’re able to do this with our patented technology that converts natural fiber into absorbent materials which enables us to make not only sanitary pads but other absorbent products as well. We want to be a model for responsible and sustainable manufacturing. We also want to encourage other companies to support systemic change by supporting programs that are addressing plastic waste at the source. We aim to do this with our plastic avoidance credits program.
