SaaraLabs (Pvt) Ltd is a women-led nutraceutical innovation company based in rural Kosgoda, Sri Lanka, and a wholly owned subsidiary of SDS Spices, a multi-generation exporter deeply embedded in agricultural supply chains. SaaraLabs was created to unlock significantly greater value from under-utilised botanical resources by transforming them into science-backed, market-ready wellness products.

The company has developed a proprietary, water-based, solvent-free extraction platform that maximises bioactive yield while reducing chemical inputs, waste, and energy intensity. By operating close to source, SaaraLabs converts low-value raw materials into high-value functional ingredients and finished products, enabling a shift away from commodity-driven exports toward scalable, circular manufacturing at origin.
