Team Ruman Farms is powered by a small but highly committed team that manages the day to day operations of the farm. Our current field team consists of five full time agricultural workers with practical farming experience and a strong commitment to modern crop production. They are responsible for land preparation, irrigation management, crop monitoring, greenhouse operations, harvesting, and general farm maintenance. A key challenge in Somaliland’s agricultural sector is attracting young people to farming as a long term profession. Despite our efforts to train and employ local youth, many prefer office based careers over hands on agricultural work. We believe agriculture is a vital profession that plays a central role in food security, employment, and economic development. The company is led by Co-Founder Eng.
