“Modern agriculture is more dependent upon the steady supply of synthetic inputs, mainly chemical fertilizers, which are products of fossil fuel (coal+ petroleum) with adverse effects due to their excessive and imbalanced use. Today, the application of beneficial microbiomes as biofertilizers in sustainable agriculture practices has emerged as innovative and environment-friendly technology for improving soil fertility and plant growth. They maintain the health of the soil and are reduce pollution in the environment by cutting down the use of chemicals. Here we produce BRAN-P, a biofertilizer made from inoculating maize bran, a by-product of the milling industry with Bacillus subtils strains to produce a Phosphorus rich Biofertilizer. Unlike other carriers in biofertilizers, BRAN-P uses maize bran that boosts in high water-holding capacity, absorbability, and environmental friendliness.” Sectors Agribusiness, Biomass, Crop farming Location Kagadi, Uganda Stage Sign in to view details Markets Sign in to view details Customer model Sign in to view details Contact Sign in to view details Social media
