You knew about 500k Ton. Daily of Urban Waste are generated in LATAM and only 10% can be recycled? El Salvador is no exception, as it is of its 4,000 Ton. Daily that generates, only 5% is recycled so 516k Ton. recyclable annually ($40M approx.) are going to trash. On the other hand, informal recyclers work in a fragmented way in their own silos, with zero traceability and in extremely precarious and unhealthy conditions without even receiving a minimum wage.
Because of this, it was born RECRCULAPP, to solve the problem of solid waste collection by means of a B2B model that through its app connects recyclers and companies to commercialize these wastes online.
“We want to be the UBER of recyclable waste collection in the region” with a winning value proposition allowing companies to sell what they throw away today, to recyclers to improve their quality of life, and contribute 8 of the 17 SDGs.
