Every year 12 million girls are married off before the age of 18 and are subjected to physical and sexual abuse, have to drop out of school and never achieve economic independence. Through employment and education Rated 18 Shoes empowers child marriage survivors by providing a platform for these girls and women to take back their voice. Our handmade shoes are crafted by women who were subjected to child marriage and profits are invested in survivors’ education.
