Raise A Girl Child Foundation Uganda is a Community Based organisation whose objectives are ;
To improve on rural girls’ access to education and retention in school.
To initiate, develop, implement and manage social economic programs and sustainability development projects for out of-school girls including non-formal education programs for income generation to reduce likelihood of early marriages.
To strengthen the role of family in improving the status of the girl child by empowering and sensitizing parents against discrimination.
To initiate, implement and manage sustainability development projects for income generation
To strengthen community based child protection Committees, defend and promote the rights of children and prevent child abuse.
To participate in healthcare promotion programs in areas such as;
HIV/AIDS awareness
Sexual and reproductive health care
Safe motherhood education
