Qiqi Farms The home of sustainable agriculture, providing healthy food products.

We are trying to resolve the problem of unhygienic food preparation and short-shelf life span of dried fish produce in the country. More than 40% of Nigerian homes consume smoked fish weekly, but they are not able to get hygienically prepared oven dried fish that is neatly packed and fit for consumption due to poor food handling and crude processing method.
Fish is a major source of animal protein and an essential food item for the Nigerian population whether consumed at home, hotels or in the several fast food outlets that are springing up on a monthly basis.
It has been identified that the traditional way of smoking in Nigeria exposes fishes to Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) a chemical compound that is dangerous to health and causes cancer. it is also usually un-hygienically processed, exposed to flies and dust even to the point of sales, yet 41% of protein consumed is gotten from fish. We have been able to change the narratives, making customers place their orders online
