PregAfrica Maternal Healthcare Services

We are working towards drastically reducing the rate of maternal mortality in Nigeria. We realized that a lot of expectant mothers in under served communities visit traditional birth attendants during their pregnancy and go on to deliver in their facility. Research shows that these attendants still engage in ancient practices which sometimes lead to unnecessary death. So we educate these attendants and equip them with the information and practices they need to ensure safe delivery for mothers. We also send reminder text messages to expectant mothers on about their upcoming antenatal classes so they can be aware and prepare accordingly.
