Pissamala is based in Mozambique and is selling solar pumps to small farmers, from September 24 until today more than 23 pumps was sold and today have an order of 30 units coming to Mozambique and hope to introduce small home systems for lighting the small farmers’ house. The challenge today is to stock big quantities of solar pumps, because the logistic process takes more than 60 days to delivery in Mozambique from China, reason why we are working with small quantities. And also, Pissamala is working to introduce PAYGO system that will help more small farmers to access solar pumps because with PAYGO the farmers can have the pumps and pay it as they use the pump. Pissamala expect to serve around 2000 small farmers in the next 3 years of operations and change the way they do agriculture and help them to increase the land and the income with more than one harvest per year and high value crops because they will have easy access to water.
