Orange Strategy Ltd is a female led waste recycling firm that is leveraging on technology as an effective means for collecting recyclable waste from households in Ogun State Nigeria, using our Mobile application (WasteValue). We encourage households to sort their waste from source, separating recyclable waste from general waste and earn ‘Value Points’ in exchange for this. These Value Points can be converted into cash, food items, household items, vouchers and stationeries.
We are also addressing poverty by creating a source of income for vulnerable women and women living below poverty line. We employ qualified vulnerable women on our work force, we also support women living below poverty line by setting up mini collection hubs for them within their local communities. they gather recyclable waste in large quantity while we buy from them. Our target is to set up mini collection hubs for 50 women in each local government area in Ogun State Nigeria.
