More than 1/3 of the world’s population has some dietary restriction for health reasons (eg allergies, intolerances, diabetes), their religion (eg Judaism, Islam) or lifestyle (eg veganism, athletes). These people must read and understand food labels, which is not an easy task; and making a mistake can even have fatal consequences.
OK to Shop is a free app in which people indicate their food preferences and afterwards thay can search for products by name, category or by scanning their barcode. In seconds they will know if it is suitable for consumption, obtain complete nutritional information and a list of alternative products to open their range of options.
We have the most complete database in Chile and Peru, and we are expanding to the rest of the region. Our revenue comes from supermarkets who pay us to display our data and analytics on their websites, and from food producers who wish to display sponsored content.
