Most organizations offering farmer support services in Malawi are concentrated in the Southern and Central regions than the North. Nyalu Agribusiness Hub in northern Malawi therefore supports women, the majority smallholder farmers, with agricultural advisory services, trainings and presents as market outlet for their farm produce. The women farmers supported present as out growers for the Hub.
Nyalu Agribusiness Hub plans on venturing into agribusiness Incubation. Nyalu Agribusiness Hub’s agribusiness incubation program aims at supporting new agri-entrepreneurs with skills training and value chain link support thereby developing their business ideas into successful business ventures. This will make the hub a key player in job and wealth creation in northern Malawi.
