With population growth comes an increased demand for protein diet and animal feed, and a subsequent increase in waste. also cuts down on available fish from natural water bodies making it increasingly difficult for animal feed millers to access protein ingredients for animal feed production. Due to the high cost of protein-rich animal feed, these farmers are forced to spend 70 percent of their production costs on pricey feeds like soy and fishmeal. This is a global problem, but will hit Africa harder than the developed world. We use innovative chemical free biotechnology to transform organic food waste into protein fodder using bacteria.
