Equipo Nexen Tech is led by Joseph Lukula (CEO) ,a previous founder of Nexen Micro Credit with 14+ years building SACCO/MSME portfolios and Shadrach Obbo (CTO), an engineer who has shipped financial products with 7+ years’ experience in the financial sector; governance is guided by Board Chair Margaret Nsibirwa, who brings 25+ years of leadership. As founder–market–fit, the team has worked the last mile since 2016 in microcredit, giving us first-hand knowledge of underserved communities and their operational realities. We’re supported by a strong bench: three experienced software engineers building the platform and three Business Development Associates driving marketing, field demos, and enterprise client acquisition. An advisory board led by Ivan Mandela, CFA, further strengthens investor readiness, governance, and capital partnerships across the region.
