Kampala is drowning in plastic. Blocked drainage channels, caused by plastic waste and polythene bags, lead to severe flooding, disease outbreaks, and environmental degradation. At Newtonia Green Nature Initiative Ltd., we offer a sustainable solution—transforming plastic waste into durable, eco-friendly construction products such as paver stones, fencing poles, and interlocking bricks. Our model tackles pollution, creates green jobs, and promotes a circular economy. We’ve piloted successfully in Wakiso District, partnered with community groups, and built local awareness. Now, we seek $50,000 to scale operations, build a larger recycling hub, and train more youth and women in green manufacturing.
