In Kenya, over 80% of the honey consumed is imported leading to an increased supply of counterfeit products, posing health risks to consumers.
At Narropil, we work with a network of 816 bee farmers from Kenya’s drylands to increase the availability of high-quality, ethically sourced, and pesticide-free organic honey while ensuring bee farmers enjoy fair market prices.
With the O-Farm support, we will expand our work to close to 1600 bee farmers and increase the number of customers currently served from approximately 2000 to 5000 customers by 2027.
