In line with the Cameroon Government strategic Development plan, coupled with increasing demand for wheat flour and starch by various industries and households, roots and tuber crops have gained industrial importance especially in the production of ethanol, glucose and amino-acid, and high quality flour for both local consumption and export purposes.
It is this light that we are introducing the industrial production and transformation of Root and Tuber Crops into High quality flour, starch, Garri and Pet food. This is in order to offset the country’s flour deficiency caused by COVID19 and the ongoing Rusian Ukrain crisis and also to meet the Cameroon’s food and nutrition security needs.
