Myfugo addresses lack of good quality cow breeds for dairy farmers to have productive and profitable ventures. This is because poor farmers cannot afford to take loans and purchase better cows because they lack credit history. We solve this problem by using alternative data to offer asset financing to dairy farmers, identify the right cows and deliver to farmers who then pay in easy installments for 12 months. To assist good animal husbandry and better productivity we are leveraging on technology – enabled smart solutions such as smart cow collar and facial recognition for cows to enhance insurance uptake and reduce fraudulent claims.
