We are working on developing the Cashew Value Chain in Sierra Leone by acting as the link between farmers and processors and thereby creating jobs for the vunerable people in the rural areas of Sierra Leone, refucing Carbon Dioxide effects, making profits for ourselves and partners. We also see the rise in demand on cashew annually and have taking the task to develop the industry so we can meet up the global demands of cashew. We currently established polyclonal Gardens and nurse the polyclonals seeds and distribute to farmers for free, whiles sensitising new farmers, including women and the youth to establish and grow their own plantations not depending on family plantation for their livelihoods. We also employ 80% women and youth in the polyclonal gardens to nurse cashew seeds for free distribution and also in the aggregation of the raw cashew nut. We have strong evidence that cashew tree contributes a lot in the reducing of GHG and carbon sequestration. Please invest in MUVA.
