Murchison Purified Honey is offering high quality filtered honey in the market and this has been the
reason behind the rapid growth in production for the past operational period despite starting as a
very small enterprise.

Gulu is occupied with over 152,276 Population according to the 2010 UBOS Population Report
is an ideal market for honey products packaged in small affordable containers. There is however
a need to further develop the market for such products. Taking into consideration the
marketability of products such as dairy-based drinks, the packaging of honey in small affordable
containers for consumers should benefit from current miniaturized product marketing strategy
trend in Uganda.
