Over 60% of Ghanaians cook with biomass fuels which is harmful to the environment and to their respiratory health, the rest who cook with modern, safer and cleaner fuel, LPG , have to carry their cylinder to the fuel station, join long queues and endure the harsh weather conditions to gain access to gas refills. Movehub under the Government of Ghana’s LPG Cylinder Recirculation Model (CRM) delivers already filled LPG to the doorsteps of our customers. Creating convenience in accessing cleaner cooking fuel thus eliminating the need to rely on biomass for cooking. We have registered over 1,400 homes in the last 4 months of operating this model, converting over 500 to sales. We are the exclusive distributor for Newgas Bottling Plant in the spintex locality. Our goal is to serve 80,000 homes in the next 5 years. We are seeking to raise $500,000 to increase our outlets, buy more tricycles, invest in IT and hire more staff.
