MobiPay AgroSys Limited Taking the lead in ict for agriculture Excellence

MobiPay AgroSys is a Ugandan-based Ag-tech solutions provider that provides digital & agricultural input services to farmers across Uganda. MobiPay’s AgTech solutions are USSD accessible in various local languages, hence usable by farmers in remote regions. MobiPay operates 1) an AgroBase platform (provides access to ag. inputs, agricultural knowledge & a marketplace for farmers), 2) a payment solutions platform (facilitates SMEs payments), and provides 3) additional value-added services (agent banking, solar lighting equipment, etc.)
It earns revenue via annual subscriptions to the digital platforms, transaction fees, & one-off payments for value-added services. MobiPay’s platforms provide tools to drive ICT inclusion, increase access to produce markets and promote digital innovation by providing customized software for SMEs
MobiPay has a growing farmer database (~80% CAGR) of ~350,000+ SHFs, 60% of which are women.
