MOBicure is co-founded by two medical doctors, Dr. Charles Immanuel Akhimien and Dr. Emmanuel Owobu.
Dr. Charles Akhimien’s work has gotten recognition at the highest levels. In 2018, he was named one of the UN SDG Young Leaders. He is also a Mandela Washington Fellow (2016), an Obama Leader (Africa), a UN Global Compact SDG Pioneer (2017), and a One Young World Ambassador. These recognitions have given him a great platform to become a thought leader on Digital Health and Innovation in Africa.

Dr. Emmanuel has a Master’s degree in Global E-health from the University of Edinburgh. He is also a LEAP Africa Fellow
