Miodon Aquatics Ltd An innovative fully vertically integrated aquaculture project.

Miodon Aquatics is a newly registered company in Livingstone Zambia. Our aim is to develop a fully integrated fish farm using water from the mighty Zambezi river.We shall supply food for countries in southern Africa. We shall build our own power supply consisting of a hybrid solar / pumped hydro storage system providing 24 hr green renewable energy. An In pond Raceway System has been chosen as the most efficient means to produce fish on a large scale providing ease of management and monitoring. We shall manufacture our own feed via an in house feed mill allowing us to cut costs of feed but maintain high quality of feed using sustainable produced ingredients. A processing plant will produce fillets for export . This will earn foreign exchange earnings, mitigating local currency devaluation. Waste from the filleting factory accounting 65% total weight will be converted to organic fertiliser. Overall , a highly competitive , long term viable, eco friendly business model !!!
