​In Butembo, communities face chronic food insecurity exacerbated by an ongoing crisis. Miche-Résilience provides a structural response to this emergency by developing an agile and self-sufficient bread-making model.
Our Mission: To ensure access to basic food for the most vulnerable (displaced children, orphanages, mothers in distress) without relying on external humanitarian aid, which is often irregular.
​Our Model: An internally cross-subsidized social enterprise. Our commercial production unit uses proceeds from sales on the conventional market to fund the production of a “social bread” with identical nutritional quality. This system enables the free and sustainable distribution of “Miche-Résilience” to target populations.
