Med-Foods Med-Foods is a processor of nutritious flour using provitamin a maize

Med-Foods is a Tanzanian Social Limited company established in 2016 by Ms Joyce Mmari, the company engages in processing and selling of blended/nutritious flour made from pro-vitamin ‘A’ maize, finger millet and vegetable ingredients. Our mission is to enhance the rural producers/smallholder farmers and distribute good quality and health processed food to our customers as an agribusiness enterprise. The company is based in Arusha region and it has a total of 20 employees of which 90% are youth under 35 years.
The company is currently seeking the funding around $150000 for the business expansion. We need this amount of fund for the procurement of processing equipment such as maize roller, milling and packing machines. We also need to expand our engagement with SHFs from our current 100 to 1000 farmers to ensure we have reliable supply of quality and quantity raw materials. We also need to strengthen our sales, marketing, branding as well as product formulation and development.
