Martyrs Clean Solutions Limited Tech-enabled waste-to-farm innovations for Africa’s food future

Martyrs Clean Solutions is a Ugandan cleantech startup transforming waste into economic and climate resilience. Our innovation, the GreenPay digital platform, connects households, small businesses, and recyclers through a mobile app and micro-franchise network. By rewarding communities for waste sorting and collection, while digitizing impact data in real time, we create an ecosystem where waste is not a burden but a valuable resource.

Urban Uganda generates more than 2,000 tons of waste daily, with over 60% unmanaged. This worsens flooding, disease, and greenhouse gas emissions. Our solution addresses this by combining waste-to-resource conversion, fintech innovation, and community micro-enterprises, ensuring that climate adaptation is both inclusive and economically sustainable.
