Since 2017 more than one million of Venezuelans arrive to Peru scaping from poverty, violence and dictatorship in their country, half of them are women. Despite they have a profesional background it was extremely difficult for them to find decent work due to xenophobia.
We created Loop to connect Venezuelan migrant women with per hour work opportunities to clean homes in Lima. Through Loop they receive very good incomes, manage their time and become members of an amazing community of women.
They are strictly screened and receive training in profesional cleaning and biosafety protocols.
Today, 60 Venezuelan migrant women use Loop to support their families in Peru and Venezuela; more than 13700 users have installed the app; Loop has more than 2500 customers and in 2022 triplicate its previous year incomes. We are working to replicate Loop in Latin America, starting by Chile, Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia.
