Every day, millions of plastic bottle tops clog Kampala’s drainage systems, contributing to severe urban flooding and environmental degradation. I have developed a localized, low-cost solution that transforms this environmental hazard into high-performance infrastructure. Working as an independent innovator, I have successfully produced backyard prototypes of Poly-Sand Composite Pavers—a highly durable construction material made by thermally blending collected plastic waste with locally sourced sand. I am seeking early-stage seed funding to transition from backyard proof-of-concept to formal laboratory validation and certified batch testing.
