Liteup Naija Projects Limited is a renewable energy lighting company on a mission to use uninterrupted lighting and monitoring solutions to help promote safer communities and well-being for Nigerians.
Nigeria is the largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa, but limitations in the power sector constrain growth. Nigeria is endowed with large oil, gas, hydro, and solar resources, and it has the potential to generate 12,522 MW of electric power from existing plants. On most days, however, it is only able to dispatch around 4,000 MW, which is insufficient for a country of over 195 million people. Street lighting has been the most affected as most streets are dark. Since power is bad, street lighting on roads, streets, and within Nigerian communities is unavailable and limited due to inadequate and high electricity tariffs. We have founded Liteup Naija projects to install street lights at an installment payment and partnering with organisations to adopt a streetlight for Advert for revenue.
