Hi, My name is Joshua Laizer, A CEO and founder of Kondoo Bora Investment, a company based in Northern Tanzania focused and committed to helping pastoralists benefit from their herds. As pastoralist, keeping animals haven’t always been smooth and beneficial. Among the challenges we are facing are a lack of reliable market for our animals, and poor breeding of our animals with small benefits due to small body morphology. With the opening of the Eliya-Food International slaughterhouse, there is an opportunity for sheep with an improved breed. In 2019, while visiting Kenya, I come across a new sheep breed that can deliver value and more earnings to pastoralists. At Kondoo Bora we provide pastoralists with more improved sheep breeds which are more persistent in harsh environments with more earnings due to big body morphology.
At Kondoo bora Investment we equip pastoralists with skills and knowledge, that help them improve their herds and income through selling of more improved breeds.
