Katapult Reimagining learning and preparing youth for the careers of tomorrow

Katapult is an edtech company with the goal of reaching 1 Million inventors in the next 5 years by reimagining learning and preparing youth for the careers of tomorrow. Katapult is a platform that hosts gamified educational experiences in the form of experiential units created by them or third parties while building the community of game developers on the continent. The units can be consumed as individual units or as a whole experience. The units each have skills attached to them that can be tracked on a dashboard for parents and educators. In their first experiential unit Alpha, children learn critical and creative thinking by solving challenges with code. We are currently testing this with partners in Nigeria and Mauritius.
