TeamAhmed Fathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and is pursuing a Master’s degree in E-Learning Technology. He also has certificates in Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship. He began his career at Juana & Paraskevaides Overseas, Saudi Arabia branch, where he challenged company rules and was the only Egyptian employee in the company’s management. He started by managing the insurance file, then worked as a cost accountant and C# programmer. He then moved to the projects lab at the Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina to create digital solutions that would help more than three million pilgrims perform Hajj more easily by leveraging technology and digital services for them. He and his team earned a Guinness World Record for breaking world records. He was working on more sustainable and less costly solutions, which prompted Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak to prioritize obtaining intellectual property rights.
