PROPOSAL FOR BAR SOAP MANUFACTURING PROJECT

Bar Soap Production and Empowerment Project
2. Project Summary:
This proposal seeks a grant of KSh 5,000,000 to establish a community-based bar soap manufacturing project aimed at promoting hygiene, creating employment, and uplifting vulnerable groups within our local community. The project will produce quality, affordable soap for everyday use, while also channeling 30% of its profits to a charity fund supporting widows, orphans, and the elderly through feeding programs, healthcare assistance, school fees, and other essential needs.
3. Background and Justification:
In our community, the need for affordable hygiene products remains urgent, especially after the economic strain brought by recent local social and political challenges. At the same time, many youth and women remain unemployed and vulnerable groups such as widows, orphans, and the elderly face daily struggles to access food, healthcare, and education.
