ICMA produces and markets agroecological inputs (organic fertilizers, biopesticides, local seeds and fertilizing tree seedlings) for small-scale urban, peri-urban and rural producers. This initiative enables customers to produce more on their smallholdings, and alleviates the shortage of foodstuffs caused by the prolonged crisis in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. it enables small farmers to restore degraded land depleted of nutrients because it has been farmed for several days without being left fallow. it enables small farmers to guarantee food sovereignty.
